1. Overview
BizPlode is an SEO and growth intelligence platform that helps website owners understand technical site health, search performance, keyword rankings, competitor landscape, and AI search visibility. This Privacy Policy describes how BizPlode collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the platform at app.bizplode.com and the public website at bizplode.com.
By using BizPlode you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Questions or concerns? Contact us at support@bizplode.com.
2. Information We Collect
A. Account and identity information
BizPlode uses Google Sign-In for authentication. When you sign in, we receive from Google and store:
- Your email address
- Your display name
- Your Google account identifier (a stable numeric identifier assigned by Google)
We do not store your Google profile image or any Google authentication tokens on our servers. Your session is maintained through an encrypted cookie stored in your browser.
When your account is created, BizPlode automatically creates an organization in your name that is private to you.
B. Project and website information
When you create a project in BizPlode, we collect:
- The project name you provide
- The website URL or domain you add
After you run a crawl, BizPlode may infer information about your business from your website content, including:
- Business type or entity type (e.g., service provider, e-commerce, publisher)
- Primary product or service offering
- Geographic scope or service area
You can confirm, edit, or correct this inferred information. You may also enter business context information directly.
C. Website crawl data
When you initiate a crawl, BizPlode makes HTTP requests to the publicly accessible pages of the website you specify, using a clearly identified crawler user agent that respects robots.txt instructions. For each page crawled, we store:
- URL, final URL after redirects
- HTTP status code
- Content type
- Page title
- Meta description
- First heading (H1)
- Canonical URL
- Robots meta directives
- Word count
- Response size (bytes) and load time (milliseconds)
- Crawl depth
- Indexability assessment
- Error information if a page failed to load
Our crawler does not store complete HTML source code, complete page body text, screenshots, form submissions, user-entered data found on crawled pages, or cookies from websites being crawled. JavaScript is not executed during crawling.
BizPlode also generates technical issue findings and prioritized recommendations based on crawl results. These findings reference page URLs and extracted metadata such as page titles and meta descriptions as evidence.
D. Google Search Console data (optional)
Connecting Google Search Console to BizPlode is optional. Google Sign-In and Search Console access are separate authorizations. You can use BizPlode without connecting Search Console.
If you choose to connect Search Console, BizPlode requests read-only access using the scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly. With this access, we retrieve and store:
- Your Search Console property or site URL
- Dates
- Search queries (the text users searched for that resulted in impressions of your website)
- Page URLs that received impressions
- Clicks, impressions, click-through rate (CTR), and average position
We currently do not retrieve country, device, or search appearance dimensions from Search Console.
BizPlode stores the authorization credentials (access token and refresh token) received from Google that are necessary to maintain your Search Console connection and automatically refresh access when needed. These credentials are stored in our database hosted by Railway. If you wish to revoke BizPlode's access to your Search Console data, you may do so at any time from your Google Account security settings.
E. Keyword rank tracking data
When you add keywords to track, BizPlode stores:
- The keyword text you enter
- The target location (e.g., United States), language, and device setting you select
When rank checks are performed, we store:
- Your website's ranking position and ranking URL for each tracked keyword
- The broader set of search results returned for that query, which may include domain names, page titles, descriptions, and positions of other websites appearing in those results
- Whether your domain appeared within the tracked result depth
- Search engine features present in the results (e.g., featured snippets)
F. Competitor and market research data
BizPlode discovers and analyzes competitor websites using data from DataForSEO's search index and from search result data associated with your tracked keywords. We store:
- Competitor domain names discovered from search index data and search results
- Keyword overlap counts and shared keyword metrics
- Keyword gap data: keywords that competitor websites rank for that your website does not
- Search result data from market research queries: domain names, positions, page titles, and snippets from public search results
- Your actions — confirming or rejecting suggested competitors
All competitor data reflects publicly available search index information. BizPlode does not collect private business information about competitors.
G. AI Visibility data
The AI Visibility feature queries DataForSEO's indexed AI-search dataset using your website's domain name. BizPlode may store:
- Public AI search questions or prompts from DataForSEO's dataset where your domain has been cited
- Citation URLs, page titles, and snippets from those citations
- AI platform and model information associated with citations
- Mention counts and estimated AI search volume metrics
- Historical monthly mention data
AI Visibility data reflects DataForSEO's aggregated index of AI-generated search results — it is not access to your private conversations with ChatGPT, Google AI, or any other AI service.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and maintain your account and organization
- Operate, provide, and display BizPlode's analysis features

- Comply with legal obligations
- Use aggregated or de-identified data to understand how BizPlode is used, improve its functionality, develop new features, and measure service performance — in ways that do not identify you individually

BizPlode does not use your personal data or customer data to train third-party AI models.

Business transfers
If BizPlode is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
BizPlode uses a small number of necessary cookies to operate the service.
Cookies we set on app.bizplode.com
- Session cookie — stores your encrypted login session so you remain signed in. This is an HTTP-only cookie that cannot be accessed by page scripts.
- CSRF token — protects your account from cross-site request forgery attacks.
- Search Console authorization token — a short-lived security token (expires in 10 minutes) used only during the Google Search Console connection flow. It is deleted immediately after authorization completes.
Tracking and advertising
As of the effective date of this policy:
- BizPlode does not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics service
- BizPlode does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels
- BizPlode does not engage in behavioral advertising
- BizPlode does not use marketing tracking technologies
6. Data Retention
BizPlode generally retains account and service data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. There is currently no automated deletion schedule.
If you would like to request deletion of your account or data, contact us at support@bizplode.com. We will process deletion requests manually. There is currently no self-service account deletion feature within the application.
We may retain certain limited information after a deletion request where reasonably necessary for:
- Security, fraud prevention, or abuse detection
- Provider cost auditing and financial record-keeping
- Compliance with legal obligations
- Dispute resolution
Residual copies of information may remain temporarily in system backups and operational logs. Third-party service providers may maintain information according to their own retention policies.
If you revoke BizPlode's access to your Google Search Console data from your Google Account, we will retain previously synchronized data in your BizPlode account. To request deletion of that data, contact support@bizplode.com.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights regarding your personal information, which may include rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Obtain a copy of certain information
To make any such request, contact us at support@bizplode.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. There is currently no automated data export feature; we will address requests manually within a reasonable time.
You may also control certain information directly within BizPlode — for example, editing your business context, removing tracked keywords, or disconnecting your Google Search Console access by revoking BizPlode's permissions from your Google Account settings.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit between your browser and BizPlode
- Google OAuth for authentication — BizPlode does not store passwords
- Encrypted session tokens maintained in HTTP-only browser cookies
- Organization-level data isolation — each account's data is logically separated
- Read-only scope for Google Search Console access — BizPlode cannot modify Search Console data
- CSRF protection for the Search Console authorization flow
- Environment-based secret management for server credentials and API keys
Authorization credentials for Google Search Console (access and refresh tokens) are stored in our database hosted by Railway. These are protected by Railway's infrastructure security and by BizPlode's organization-level access controls.
No security system is perfect. We cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, or altered in an unauthorized way. We encourage you to protect your Google account with a strong password and two-factor authentication.

BizPlode is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a person under 18, please contact us at support@bizplode.com and we will take steps to delete that information.
10. International Users
BizPlode is operated from the United States. By using the service, you acknowledge that information you provide may be transferred to and processed in the United States and in other locations where our service providers operate. Data protection laws vary by jurisdiction, and those laws may differ from the laws of your country.
We make no specific representations regarding compliance with the data protection laws of every jurisdiction. If you have questions about cross-border data transfers, please contact us at support@bizplode.com.
